This psalm is by the Rev'd Robert Philip Goodenough, MA (Oxon); son of Samuel Goodenough, Bishop of Carlisle. A manuscript collection of 25 chants by Goodenough is in the library of Christ Church, Oxford, where he was for many years Tutor and Censor.
